is owned by Marquita "Marki" Davis & Tim McHale. We are located in beautiful Layton, UT. We love our poodles as if they were our children. The new babies are also loved and spoiled from the minute they are born. I literally get in the play pen used as a whelping bed when the mom gives birth to assure that all is going well, mom is not too stressed and baby comes into the world knowing human touch and compassion.
These babies will stay in the whelping bed until they are about 3-4 weeks old
then move to a padded side exercise pen that is put up against our bed so we can
listen for any stress or trouble that they might get into to as they explore
their new world. At 5-6 weeks they are then moved out of the bedroom and
into the rest of the home, and we start then to crate train them. This way they will not be so
traumatized when they go home and get used to not having so much company at night especially
from their littermates. We always get attached but we are happy to find new homes for the little ones. We know how fulfilled a life can be with a smart, lovable, loyal and shed free companion, family member and best friend and we want to share with others the type of total unconditional love that these poodles can give. I can't imagine life without a dog on my lap or in my bed at night for that matter. We started breeding puppies when while looking at all the wonderful little faces on the internet as we searched to fill a void left when our 15 year old "Boo" passed away. Boo actually sat on my lap when we found Spirit who looked like Boo as a baby and even in his blinded eyesight and poor health when I showed him the picture he started "laughing" much like in the photo below. It was pretty obvious that we must have "Spirit" who is indeed the "spirit" of Boo. Of all the puppies in the world and the hundreds that we looked at this little guy is about 95% identical in personality, mannerisms and looks like Boo. It is truly amazing! We truly believe that Boo picked this boy just for us. Our two females, Oreo and Cary came along because we couldn't resist them. Mouse came to us from Cary & Spirit and he just had to stay. Now we have added a new girl... Our beautiful Chelsea. We added Rudy to the mix because of his great look and sweet personality and tiny size. He will be a great breeder. What an awesome furry family we have !!! All of our poodles are wonderful in their unique ways !!
